TAKE THE WIN | Moody Sues Shifter Metallic Wax

INTRODUCING NEW Tanglewood SUE-per Shifter Jewels created by Miss Lillian's by No Wax Chock Paint!

Created in collaboration with Tanglewood Sue and Miss Lillian’s No-Wax Chock Paint, this 1oz jar of Sue-per Shifter Jewel Wax delivers bold, color-shifting brilliance with a touch of edgy glam.

Base Color: Buff
Shifts To: Magenta/Gold

This innovative metallic wax was originally developed for Tanglewood Sue’s signature gothic-style furniture projects — but its shimmering finish adds dimension and drama to any creative makeover. Each wax changes color depending on the light and angle, giving your piece an ever-evolving glow.

While these waxes were formulated for use over dark surfaces, they also work beautifully on light tones and even raw wood. For the most dramatic effect, pair your wax with a similar base paint color to let the shimmer steal the show.

How to Apply:

1. Use a brush or your fingertips to apply (gloves recommended).

2. Start with a light amount and spread evenly to avoid streaking.

3. Allow to dry for 10–15 minutes between coats if deeper coverage is desired.

4. Blend shades to create custom finishes.

5. To remove before curing, use clear wax.

6. After curing (ideally overnight), buff with a soft cloth or brush to activate the shine and seal the surface.

These waxes are self-sealing, but for added durability and protection, we recommend finishing with Miss Lillian’s Luster Topcoat.
